Delete your account
You can permanently delete your StyleBook Ontario account and the personal data attached to it. Submit the request below and we'll confirm by email before anything is removed.
Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Cancel or complete any upcoming appointments first — deleting your account does not cancel a confirmed booking or refund a payment.
What gets deleted
- Your profile, name, photo and sign-in identity
- Saved favourites, searches and preferences
- Chat messages you sent to professionals
- Provider listing, services and portfolio images (professional accounts)
What we must keep
- Booking and payment records required for tax and accounting law (kept up to 7 years, then deleted)
- Payment and payout records held by Stripe under its own retention rules
- Reviews you left, anonymised so they no longer identify you
- Records needed for an open dispute, refund or safety investigation
Request deletion
We verify every request against the account email before deleting anything. Requests are completed within 30 days.
